Wireless updates.
Information that stays.

EcoPixel combines RFID interaction with bistable electronic paper. The display retains its last image without continuous display power.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

From a business event to a visible update.

Four connected layers bring industry workflows, platform services, field equipment and e-paper tags into one system.

Architecture redrawn from the supplied V4.2 material, page 3. Workflow descriptions organize the concepts for this website; interfaces, SDK scope, deployment topology and feedback mechanisms require project-specific confirmation.

Choose the configuration that fits your site.

The source architecture illustrates an integration scope, rather than a guarantee that every component supports every interface. Device-side Bluetooth Mesh, Wi-Fi and cellular links are distinct from tag-side capabilities. Tag-side BLE and LoRaWAN remain subject to confirmation for the e-paper range.

Business tools, connected through an agreed interface.

ERP, MES and label-design workflows are shown in the reference architecture. BarTender, ZebraDesigner and NiceLabel are examples illustrated in the source, not a claim of certified compatibility or partnership. Confirm versions, APIs, drivers and licensing during integration.

A clear path through the system.

  1. 01

    Business event

Define the object, task and information to display.

  2. 02

    Task & image preparation

Coordinate the task and generate the selected label content.

  3. 03

    Field execution

Send the task through the chosen reader or gateway.

  4. 04

    Tag update & verification

Update the display and verify the result in the application.

ENERGY FOR THE UPDATE

RF field → Tag → E-paper

A compatible reader provides energy and data. The tag processes the update, and the e-paper retains the resulting image.

Identification is not the same as a display update.

A long RFID reading distance does not automatically mean the same distance for screen updating. Validate both under the actual installation conditions.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Connect at the level your project needs.

01

Print-style integration

For supported applications, an existing print action can feed template rendering and tag update tasks.

02

Interface-led integration

Coordinate business events, template data, update tasks and status feedback through the selected platform integration.

API, MQTT, device interfaces and supported operating systems must be confirmed for the selected software and equipment versions.

PILOT DESIGN

Prove it in the
environment that matters.

Record tag model, screen content, update distance, orientation, temperature, material and tag density in every performance evaluation.
